Name the Movie
We haven't provided a new trivia question for awhile. So here's a new one, created for your pleasure. As usual, we aren't sure whether this will be easy or difficult.
This movie was released 1-2 months prior to the beginning of a professional sports season. A character in the movie suggested to another character in the movie, who had a form of amnesia, that a particular sports team had won the top award for that sport, and then said, "just kidding." At the end of the following real season, lo and behold, the team had won.
As an additional aid (or distraction) there are two characters in the movie named Mary Kate and Ashley. And to most viewers of the movie, the two look identical.
Bonus Question: name another movie from which a clip is shown in the above movie, and which the surprise ending is revealed.

at 8/30/2005 9:07:02 AM- This is another one of those where, at the time it was posted, I spent about an hour or so on it, before giving up. I look at it again, what? over a month later, and bang! after 5 minutes I give you:
50 First Dates.
On the update video, Henry(?) announced that the Red Sox have won the world series and then says: "just kidding." (He follows this with a report about Arnold becoming Gov'ner of CA. and says "not kidding."
Mary Kate and Ashley are dolphins.
And this movie gives away the surprise ending to The Sixth Sense.

at 8/30/2005 9:59:21 AM- Yes to all of the above. (Yes, it was Henry, played by Adam Sandler, who told Lucy, played by Drew Barrymore, that the Red Sox had won.)
The dolphins aren't in the IMDB credits...but all of the associated trivia is in the 'trivia' section. Which may, or may not, be how it was found.

Hum my first initial guess and after my guess I want to post a challenge I finally found one worthy, is the Adventures of Mary Kate and Ashley unless u just put olsens to make us confused and it is twins but not the olsens
